You Can Bank on Comfort at Renovated Fall River Mills Branch

By Plumas Bank July 24, 2023 Community banking

The business of banking just got a whole lot more inviting at the newly remodeled Fall River Mills branch of Plumas Bank.

In fact, if you’re a client or a local business association or a non-profit in need of a bright, modern meeting space, you have a brand-new option: Here, you’ll find a complimentary community room featuring a large screen, wireless internet, and seating for up to 10 people.

It’s all part of the remodel at the Fall River Mills branch, where the Plumas Bank team now invites guests to sit and visit while discussing their banking needs at spacious, comfortable desks.

“We really focused on personal touches that would create a more comfortable client experience during this remodel,” said Donna Hamilton, Vice President, Fall River Mills Branch Manager. “We’re a community bank, and relationships are the core of our business. This space now feels more welcoming and accommodating.”

This Plumas Bank branch first greeted clients in 1998, but the building was constructed in 1950. While it had already received some upgrades prior to this undertaking — like conversion to LED lighting and the installation of xeriscape using drought-tolerant plants on a low-water drip system — this redesign was an opportunity to incorporate a more natural interior aesthetic that feels airy and inviting.

“Plus, we were able to choose vendors that provide products with sustainable elements,” said Plumas Bank Facilities Manager Kathy Beatty.

Though the branch looks brand new, the same team you’ve known and trusted remains to support your business banking, personal banking, and business lending needs. And to officially welcome clients and thank everyone for their patience while the bank underwent its remodel, the team at Fall River Mills is planning a Client Appreciation Day this fall.

“We know summer is a busy time, so we’re planning this for a little later in the year when we can thank more clients face to face,” Hamilton said. Plumas Bank will announce details of the open house as the date draws closer.

The renovation is a reflection of the bank’s commitment to the Shasta County location.

“We’ve been here for 25 years, and we’re still here to help our clients with their banking needs,” Hamilton said. “Stop by, pull up a chair, grab some popcorn from our vintage-style popcorn cart, and let’s discuss how we can help you achieve your financial goals.”
