Expanding our Services in Chico
Plumas Bank's newest full-service branch in Chico, California, is now open. As a community bank, Plumas Bank aims to foster that human connection and uplift the areas we serve so each community can flourish and thrive. With its diverse economy, home-grown businesses and outstanding 150-year history, Chico was a natural fit for Plumas Bank’s expansion and the perfect home for our newest branch location.
We’ve revitalized and modernized a previously outdated property on a main thoroughfare at Mangrove Avenue. As part of renovating the 5,600-square-foot building originally built in 1977, we remain cognizant that sustainability is a vital factor for longevity. In doing so, we’ve brought in local firms Holt Construction, RGA architects, and Zanna Fuller Design to manage the property’s green-friendly upgrades. These include low-water-usage landscaping, solar panels, energy-efficient metal roofing, LED lighting, energy-efficient HVAC and appliances, low VOC paint, carpet and flooring, as well as flooring made from recyclable materials.
Art and Community at Plumas Bank
When Plumas Bank opened a full-service branch in Chico, California, the bank commissioned local artist Dylan Tellesen to paint a mural on the newly remodeled building at 900 Mangrove Ave. The mural incorporates symbolic representations of the Chico community and brings light and color to a busy corner at Mangrove and Palmetto. Stop by to see Dylan's contribution to Chico public art and say hello to the Plumas Bank team. Learn more at plumasbank.com.
